About the Hotel:

Built around a mill tower with its very own Grade II listed water wheel. This 42-bedroom hotel is perfectly placed for romantic breaks, an exclusive conference venue or a picture-perfect wedding, opulent surroundings and contemporary style complimenting the charm and romance of the English countryside settings.

About this position:

This is a great opportunity to join our Team.

You will work regular Monday & Tuesday Night shifts and be responsible for the security of the hotel and the needs & safety of the guests during the night.

Working hours between: 10:45pm - 7.15am

16 hours a week contract - There will be the opportunity of OT at certain times of the year to cover sickness/holiday.

The successful candidate will:

Take responsibility for the safety, security of the Hotel and care of guests and staff throughout the night

· To carry out regular security checks of the hotel and grounds including the car park

· To offer a limited provision of drinks to customers

· To quickly & calmly manage the evacuation of guests in the instance of a fire alarm

· To clear down and set up function rooms ensuring all areas are completed to the highest standards

· Checking In/Out of guests

· Delivery of a high standard of customer care

· Taking card payments

· Taking guest calls and bookings

· Handle reservations from direct bookings and OTA's

· Assist in any customer enquirys

· Working closely with all departments to maximise service opportunities

About you:

· Previous experience working night shifts - essential.

· Current DBS check or willingness to get one

. Ability & experience of lone work

· Highly self-motivated and take pride in your work

· You will be organised, have strong attention to detail and be willing to go the extra mile for our guests

· Prior knowledge of Rexlynz/Guestline is advantageous
