As a steel fabricator you will be responsible for:


  • Interpreting technical drawings to fabricate and weld metal components
  • Understanding weld procedures and weld plans
  • Fabricating to a high standard, accurately measuring and working to tolerances
  • Completing all fabrication tasks as assigned by the supervisor/chargehand accurately and efficiently ·
  • Operating fabrication machinery, overhead cranes and hand tools etc ensuring safety and quality standards
  • Performing steel cutting, burning and grinding to a high standard ·
  • Inspecting own work to ensure it meets the companys high quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder
  • Strong understand of metal fabrication processes and equipment
  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Safety conscious mindset with a commitment to following procedures
