About Access Training Enterprise Group

Access Training Enterprise Group is one of the UK’s leading providers of vocational training, work-based learning and professional education. The Group includes Access Trades Training, YMCAfit and YMCA Awards, supporting learners across trade training, fitness education, awarding organisation services and professional development.

We are looking for a Content Writer (SEO/GEO) to create, manage and optimise content across our Group brands.

This is a hands-on content role with a strong focus on search visibility. You will write clear, engaging and conversion-focused content for different audiences, while helping our websites perform well across traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms.

As search behaviour changes, this role will help ensure our brands remain visible, trusted and easy to find when learners, employers and partners are researching training routes, qualifications and career development options.

What you’ll do

  • Write and update course pages, landing pages, blogs and student-facing content across Access Trades Training, YMCAfit and YMCA Awards.
  • Optimise website copy and blog content for SEO, search intent and AI-generated results.
  • Conduct keyword, topic and content research to support content planning.
  • Review and improve meta descriptions, headings, internal links and on-page content.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics and SEO tools, using insight to improve content quality and visibility.
  • Support GEO activity by helping track how our brands, courses and qualification routes appear across AI-powered search platforms.
  • Adapt tone and style for different audiences, including career changers, trade learners, fitness professionals, employers and partners.
  • Work with subject matter experts to turn technical information into clear, useful and accessible content.
  • Support PR, student stories, internal updates and wider marketing communications where required.
  • Work with the marketing and web teams to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, accessible and conversion-focused.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in a content, copywriting, SEO or digital marketing role.
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to write for different audiences and channels.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practice, including search intent, metadata, internal linking and content quality.
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Similarweb or similar.
  • Ability to use data to improve content and make practical recommendations.
  • An understanding of GEO, AEO or AI-powered search would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable using AI tools responsibly as part of a content workflow.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Able to manage multiple briefs and deadlines in a fast-moving marketing environment.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively across a wider group structure.

What we offer

  • Salary of £30,000 to £38,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working based in London.
  • Full-time, permanent role.
  • Opportunity to work across a growing group of education and training brands.
  • A varied role covering content writing, SEO, GEO and digital performance.
  • A supportive marketing environment where practical ideas and continuous improvement are valued.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
