Company Overview

Bellamia is a fast-growing e-commerce brand creating beautifully designed products and inspiring spaces for our customers. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Social Media Manager to grow our social presence, strengthen our community, and bring our brand to life across every platform.

Working closely with the Brand & Content Manager, you'll translate campaigns, brand stories, and creative concepts into engaging social-first content that drives awareness, engagement, and audience growth.

This role is the owner of Bellamia's organic social ecosystem.

Role Summary

As Social Media Manager, you will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of Bellamia's organic social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.

You'll be responsible for content planning, content creation, community management, channel growth, and performance optimisation, ensuring Bellamia remains relevant, engaging, and culturally connected.

Key Responsibilities

Social Strategy & Growth

  • Own and evolve Bellamia's organic social strategy across all key platforms.
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, reach, and community development.
  • Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and content opportunities.
  • Develop channel-specific content approaches aligned with wider marketing and commercial objectives.
  • Test, learn, and optimise content formats to maximise performance.

Content Creation & Publishing

  • Own Bellamia's social content calendar and publishing schedule.
  • Create engaging, social-first content including:

- Reels

- TikToks

- Short-form video

- Lifestyle imagery

- UGC edits

- Platform-specific captions and copy

  • Adapt campaign and brand assets into platform-optimised content.
  • Ensure all content aligns with Bellamia's brand guidelines and creative standards.

Community Management

  • Build and nurture Bellamia's online community across all channels.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with customers, creators, and brand advocates.
  • Identify opportunities to increase engagement, loyalty, and customer advocacy.

Creator & Influencer Content

  • Collaborate with the Brand & Content Manager and Affiliates Manager to align creator and influencer activity with wider campaigns.
  • Support influencer activations by providing social content guidance and best-practice recommendations.
  • Repurpose creator-generated content across Bellamia's owned channels.

Performance & Insights

  • Monitor and analyse social performance across all platforms.
  • Produce regular reporting and actionable recommendations.
  • Track key metrics including engagement, reach, impressions, audience growth, video views, website traffic, and conversion-supporting activity.
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and audience engagement.

Social Operations

  • Manage scheduling and publishing tools.
  • Maintain efficient content planning and workflow processes.
  • Stay ahead of platform developments, competitor activity, social trends, and emerging content formats.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 2+ years' experience in Social Media Marketing or a similar role.
  • Experience managing organic social channels for a consumer-facing brand.
  • Proven experience creating engaging social-first content, particularly short-form video.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, and GA4.
  • Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, platform trends, and audience engagement.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within furniture, home décor, interiors, lifestyle, fashion, or beauty brands.
  • Experience growing social channels and communities organically.
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators.
  • Experience in a DTC or fast-growth e-commerce environment.
