Full job description

Kilburn Communications, has been a leading PR and media agency for 25 years, specialising in healthcare (dentistry) and recently hotel design. As a dynamic and fast-paced agency, we’re looking for a talented B2B content writer to join our team of expert writers and editors.

If you have a sharp editorial eye and a passion for crafting compelling narratives while being able to confidently drive industry conversations, we’d love to hear from you!

What the role demands:

  • Strong, confident telephone manner: interviewing our clients’ customers for articles, clinical case studies and testimonials
  • Ability to rewrite digital and traditional business and clinical articles/ generic editorials/blogs
  • Create clinical and non-clinical articles as well as business-to-business and consumer press releases
  • Initiate new editorials from client briefs – press releases, web copy and articles
  • Attend national exhibitions and conferences when required
  • Good working knowledge of social media
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritise work, and meet tight deadlines
  • Happy to work in small company, getting involved in all aspects of the business and working closely with colleagues

Essential:

· Two to fours years’ full time working history

· Excellent written English

· Ability to research market and initiate editorial

· Excellent work ethic

Good to have (not essential) :

  • Experience working on Mac
  • Experience creating newsletters on programme like MailChimp
  • Experience with Canva
  • Experience in video capture or editing
  • Experience with social media paid advertising and management

This role is office-based, located in Whitstable, Kent. Working hours are 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
