Art Study Programme Manager
Location: St. Austell
Salary: £28,402.92 –£33,865.02 per annum (SPM1 to SPM4)
Terms & Conditions: Full Time (37 hours/52 weeks), Teaching Contract

About the Role
Based at our St Austell campus we are looking for an experienced individual to work as part of our Creative and Digital Academy (TCDA) as Study Programme Manager for L2 Art & Design. You will work with the Curriculum Area Manager to develop curricula and ensure coherence between the assessment units and wider industry style projects, supporting students and helping them to make a smooth transition into further Study, Sustainable Employment or Apprenticeship.
The post will include some pastoral care through personal tutoring. You’ll be working in a creative setting where cross collaboration with all of the subjects within the Creative Industries and Lifestyle Services Department is encouraged. Developing links with the local and wider industry is a must. Your ideas and proactive action in recruiting to the course and ensuring its sustainability will be supported and continually encouraged.
Creative Industries and Lifestyle Services is home to those who are practising creatives and outstanding teachers. You’ll feel at home amidst the fast paced and continually developing department, enjoying the receipt of feedback and working as a team to develop the quality of the learner experience as well as the outward facing profile of Creative Industries and Lifestyle Services in.
Skills & Experience
The ability to work flexibly across disciplines, experience of a range of teaching methods, support for group and individual work and working as part of a team, delivering workshops and practical sessions is vital.
Candidates should be qualified to an Art and Design relevant Degree qualification, such as Fine Art/Textiles/Fashion/Ceramics related subjects. You will be expected to have specialist understanding of a range of 2D and 3D related subjects on top of wider art and design knowledge and experience.
