Full job description

The Hotel Folk are looking for experienced Food & Beverage Assistant (waiting staff) to join our friendly team at The Crown at Woodbridge.

You must be bright, bubbly & enthusiastic and have previously worked in a similar role. Hours are variable and involve working evenings and weekends. Please note this role will involve serving alcohol and working behind a bar on occasion therefore you will need to be at least 18 years old.

You will provide courteous, efficient and knowledgeable service to our guests and ensure that presentation and cleaning standards are achieved and maintained in our Restaurant and Bar areas. Previous waiter or waitress experience is essential.

Key tasks of our Food and Beverage Assistant (waiting staff) include:

  • Having a keen attention to ensuring customer satisfaction in our restaurant and outside dining areas
  • Being knowledgeable in the content of each menu, to be able to correctly advise guests on our offering
  • Able to take orders accurately in a friendly and confident manner
  • Ensure that restaurant tables are laid out correctly
