Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh sandwiches and salads, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, ensuring each customer has a positive experience. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Duties

  • Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or drive-thru
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation activities
  • Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sanitising surfaces and utensils
  • Manage stock levels and assist with inventory checks as required
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including cash handling and register operation

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
  • Strong time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
  • Ability to upsell products effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
