We’re seeking a high-performing Direct Sales Leader with proven experience in the furniture or home interiors industry. You’ll work directly with prospective clients to understand their needs, present solutions, and close deals efficiently and effectively.

The Role

Support the Store Manager to set exceptional standards of customer service and motivate your team to achieve maximum sales and profitability at our store in Leicester. You will support and enable your team to identify customers’ needs, convey features and benefits of products and present merchandise to the highest standard possible.

Assist in developing, training and motivating team members, ensuring all duties are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.

Becoming an expert on our products, you will ensure they are displayed to the highest standards and provide excellent sales advice to customers and colleagues in order to achieve maximum sales and profitability.

You will also ensure that stock is ordered, received, stored and displayed in line with company guidelines and process incoming information and enquiries.

Please note, this role will require weekend and late-night work (until 7pm) as part of a shift pattern.

About You

✅ 3+ years of experience in closing direct sales — ideally in furniture, interiors, or luxury retail

✅ Experience leading a team
✅ Proven ability to convert leads into sales and consistently exceed targets
✅ Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills
✅ Data-driven approach to sales
✅ Flexible to work evenings/weekends
