Full job description

£24,454 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION | OTE £40,000+ | FULL TRAINING PROVIDED

Love talking to people? Love hitting targets? Love earning commission?

Then we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for an energetic, driven and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our Glasgow North store.

And the best bit? You don’t need flooring experience. We’ll give you all the training, tools and product knowledge you need to succeed.

What’s in it for you?

- £24,454 basic salary + uncapped sales commission

- Top earners currently average £40,000 per year; minimum earnings average £32,000 per year

- Regular incentives, including £1,000s in prize money

- 6.2 weeks’ holiday

- 5% company pension contribution

- Free parking

- 25% staff discount for friends & family

- Discounts with major retailers

- Company loyalty scheme

- Health & wellbeing support

- Enhanced maternity & paternity packages

- Full training — no flooring experience needed

- Genuine career progression — 70%+ of our managers have been promoted internally

- Annual company awards

- Uniform provided

What will you be doing?

Every day is different. You’ll:

- Welcome and support retail and trade customers, understanding what they need and recommending the right products

- Turn conversations into sales and make the most of every opportunity

- Follow up with customers who have ordered samples online

- Build relationships with local trade customers through phone and email

- Help keep the showroom looking fantastic

- Support our click & collect service, including some manual handling

- Work towards targets — and push yourself to smash them

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:

- Loves people. You genuinely enjoy talking to customers and going the extra mile.

- Loves sales. Targets motivate you, and you want your commission to reflect the effort you put in.

- Loves a challenge. You’re proactive, adaptable and don't wait to be told what to do.

- Is comfortable with technology. You don't need to be an expert — we'll train you — but you should be confident using systems and digital tools.

- Can work independently. Our stores are small teams, so you’ll be comfortable working on your own when required.

- Most importantly, we want genuinely decent people who are honest, empathetic and want to make a difference to the customer experience.

No flooring experience? No problem.

We’ll give you the training and product knowledge you need to become a flooring expert.

What matters to us is your attitude, your personality and your desire to succeed.

The hours

You’ll work an average of 37 hours per week across a 3-week rolling rota, including weekends.

We care about work/life balance, so you’ll have at least two days off every week, with three days off during the third week of your rota.

Why Flooring Superstore?

We’ve come a long way since launching online in 2012. We now have 50+ stores nationwide, with further growth planned.

We’re proud of our people, passionate about developing talent and committed to supporting our communities and the environment.

If you’re ambitious, personable and ready to build a career in sales, this could be your next move.

Ready to make your mark?

Apply now and show us what you can do.

You don't need to tick every box to apply. If you like the sound of the role, we want to hear from you.
