Wyresdale Park is seeking to appoint a part time wedding coordinator. This is a key role within our busy Sales and Wedding team, requiring a highly motivated, passionate individual.

The successful candidate must be flexible (working hours must include weekend and evening work);be able to multitask; promote and sell weddings; and ensure the smooth running of weddings throughout the season. Critical to the role is putting our bride and grooms first and ensuring their day is truly special.

Responsibilities within this role will be coordinating weddings, working as a team, problem solving and ensuring that our brides and groom are always put first. Customer service is key in this role.

Wyresdale Park offers a unique wedding venue in its scale and flexibility. You must be comfortable with a dynamic premise that requires both calm and creativity.

The role

• You will act as Wyresdale Park’s legal representative during the civil ceremony
• You will be the main point of contact on the day providing services to the couple (e.g external catering company, external bar supplier, DJ, florist, photographer and any others)
• You will move guests according to the itinerary this may be from ceremony, to drinks reception, to dinner, cutting cake, first dance ect.
• Liaise with the food and beverage tea, throughout the day to ensure that timings are being met and all is running ok.
• You will be responsible for doing regular external sound checks and communicating this back to the DJ/band if sounds levels are unacceptable

• Highly professional and committed to the wedding industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Focused on delivering a high level of customer service
• Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers
• Able to work under pressure and multi task particularly during the peak seasons
• Keen attention to detail in work
• Strong organisational skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
