Dental Nurse (Trainees will be considered)
DJ Maguire Dental Group are looking for a dental nurse (trainees will be considered) to work in our practice, Turk Dental Care, Monday to Friday.

Job Description: To carry out nursing duties throughout the practice, assist with reception or any clerical duties as required. A full job description will be provided with our application pack.

Hours of Work: 35
Monday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Tuesday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Wednesday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Essential Criteria:
- GDC Registration (where qualified)
- Relevant Hep B vaccinations
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Excellent communicator
- Good practical skills together with good common sense
- Excellent organisational and clinical skills, with the ability to plan and manage workloads
- Confidence to represent the practice and its values
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels in the organisation
- Professional attitude
- Experience managing relationships with patients
- Clinical experience, dental knowledge, performing high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist in all dental procedures
- Familiarity with health and safety rules and guidance including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal
- Up to date CPR training
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in healthcare and decontamination unit
- 1 year's reception experience
- Computer literate with good IT skills and experience of dental software
