Overview
We are seeking a skilled appointed person / lift supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys, collecting data, and preparing reports to support various projects. This role requires proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, as well as a strong understanding of crane principles. The candadate will work closely with engineers and other professionals to ensure lifting operations are carried out safely and to plan.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys submit quotes and supervise the job creating rams to suit.
- Prepare detailed reports and method statements
- Collaborate with project teams to provide accurate measurements for numerous projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in crane work or a related field is essential.
- Proficiency in CAD software, is advantageous but not essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Will need to work away from home at times
