Full job description

We are seeking part time, bubbly, energetic support workers to support a 50-year-old lady with her rehabilitation and independence as part of a team.

Our client needs support with her personal care, mobility, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy programmes.

Currently she is a long-term resident of a care home, with the support of the care team working on an active programme of support, independence assessments and community-based activities.

The long-term goal of the team is to work towards moving the client into her own home, dependent on assessments.

She would like assistance with support and activities, companionship, days out and holidays. Our client is looking for someone who is well organised and flexible.

The role will involve driving the client’s vehicle and providing 2-1 care as required to meet her needs.

Working hours:

Hours to be discussed at interview but ideally will be one weekday shift 09.30am – 14.30pm and a weekend shift.

There will be occasional evenings in order to meet the clients’ interests and activities.

Additional hours will be available to cover annual leave and sickness.

Rates of pay:

Weekdays: £14.50 per hour

Weekends: £16.50 per hour

An NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise the applicant must be willing to undertake care Certificate Training.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.

Full training will be provided

A full driving license is essential.
