Overview

SBS SW LTD is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Builder / Skilled Labourer to join our team on a temporary contract basis. We carry out a wide range of construction, renovation and refurbishment projects across Dorset and Somerset.

The successful applicant will assist with various aspects of building work including extensions, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, damp proofing, painting, brickwork and general property refurbishment works.

Duties

• General building and labouring duties on residential and commercial projects
• Assisting with extensions, renovations and refurbishment works
• Basic carpentry, roofing and brickwork tasks
• Painting and decorating preparation and finishing works
• Kitchen and bathroom installation assistance
• Damp proofing and property maintenance works
• Loading, unloading and moving materials
• Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Previous construction, building, painting or skilled labouring experience preferred
• Own transport and full UK driving licence essential
• Ability to travel to sites across Dorset and Somerset
• Good practical skills and experience using hand and power tools
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work
• CSCS card beneficial but not essential

Pay: £120–£150 per day depending on experience

Job Type: Temporary Contract

Location: Sherborne, Dorset and surrounding areas
