About Us

We are a leading ceilings, partition and commercial flooring contractor renowned for delivering high-quality commercial flooring solutions across a wide range of sectors, including retail, education, healthcare, and corporate offices. Due to continued growth and an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Professional Commercial Floorlayer to join our expert team.

The Role

We need a seasoned craftsman who takes pride in flawless finishes and can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for the preparation, installation, and finishing of various commercial flooring systems, with a primary focus on Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and commercial carpeting (including broadloom and carpet tiles).

Key Responsibilities

  • Expert preparation of subfloors (screeding, smoothing compounds, ply-boarding, moisture testing).
  • Precise installation and setting out of LVT (including borders, feature strips, and intricate patterns).
  • Professional fitting of commercial carpets, cap and cove vinyl, and safety flooring where required.
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications on busy commercial sites.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to the highest industry standards, on time, and adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience as a commercial floorlayer.
  • Advanced proficiency in LVT installation and commercial carpet fitting.
  • Strong knowledge of subfloor preparation and damp-proofing membranes (DPM).
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 in Floorcovering or equivalent trade experience is desirable.
  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Own professional van / tools and a strong eye for detail.

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
