Damp Proofing jobs in Battle

Improver or semi skilled construction worker, skilled in wet trades and basic construction.

We are looking for a operative to join our busy small family based company carrying out damp proofing, remedial works, preservation works, and associated building repairs.

Works include:

• Damp treatments
• Minor carpentry
• Plastering and rendering
• Repointing
• Chimney works
• Minor roof works
• Deconstruction
• Minor renovation works
• General building repairs

Applicants should have:

• Broad trade experience
• Be reliable, personal problems will not affect day to day business
• Good site knowledge
• Good clean habits, ability to keep a clean work enviroment and leave homes tidy, safe and clean
• Common sense and a good work ethic
• Respectful manner with clients and on site
• Own tools preferred (help can be given where needed)
• Driving licence and own vehicle, is a must.
• CIS registration

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: Agreed based on experience
Terms: One week in hand / one week in arrears
Self-employed contract to be agreed

We are looking for someone experienced, dependable, and still willing to learn, with the aim of developing them into a long-term key member of the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £140.00-£190.00 per day
