Job Summary
We are a friendly local building and maintenance company looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our team.

The role will involve carrying out a variety of repair, maintenance and refurbishment works across Hastings and the surrounding areas. We are looking for someone reliable, practical and confident working across different trades.

The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following:

• Brickwork and general masonry repairs
• Plastering and making good
• Tiling
• Basic flooring
• Fencing and external works
• Damp proofing and remedial works
• General wet trades
• Organising and managing small jobs
• Basic carpentry skills would be a bonus

You will need to be able to work independently, communicate well with customers and colleagues, and take pride in delivering a good standard of work.

What we offer:

• Salary between £35,000 and £42,000, depending on experience
• Company van provided
• Reasonable personal use of van permitted, with personal fuel covered by the employee

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a multi-trade role
• Good practical knowledge of building and maintenance works
• Full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools preferred
• Reliable, tidy and professional approach
• Ability to organise works and problem-solve on site
