£55,000 to £70,000 base salary + 5% commission on all work you win + company car

Advanced Damp is a damp proofing and structural waterproofing specialist based in Hammersmith, working across homes and commercial buildings in London and the South East. We are a survey led business: every job starts with a proper diagnosis, so we only recommend the work a building actually needs.

We are now looking for an experienced Damp and Waterproofing Surveyor to join our growing team. If you enjoy getting to the real cause of a problem, explaining it clearly to clients and seeing your recommendations turn into finished projects, this role is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Carrying out detailed damp, timber and waterproofing surveys on residential and commercial properties
  • Diagnosing rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, timber decay and below ground waterproofing failures
  • Writing clear, professional reports with photographs and practical remedial specifications
  • Preparing accurate quotations and specifications for works
  • Talking clients through your findings and turning surveys into confirmed projects
  • Working closely with our contractors and office team so projects are delivered as specified
  • Keeping all work in line with current regulations, BS 8102 and industry best practice

What we are looking for

  • CSSW (Certified Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing)
  • CSRT (Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment, formerly CSTDB)
  • Proven experience surveying damp, timber and waterproofing problems
  • Confidence with clients and a track record of converting surveys into work
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
