Full-time roles are available for Property Preservation & Waterproofing Surveyors, to both maintain and expand our coverage area and client base. We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, confident communicators with an eye for detail and a good level of technical knowledge.
The ideal candidate(s) should possess the following:
- Experience in damp proofing, timber treatments, below ground waterproofing techniques, structural repair methods and condensation solutions, either as an existing Surveyor or as a Technician looking to take the next step in their career.
- Knowledge of construction and building materials including historic methods and heritage buildings.
- A willingness to undertake continued professional development and any relevant training to further expand knowledge and skills.
- The ability to work decisively and independently with minimal supervision.
- The aptitude to liaise with internal employees, site operatives, clients, contractors and external suppliers.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience of producing written reports/quotations using Microsoft Office products.
- PCA qualifications such as CSRT, CSSW, CSTDB or CSDV would be advantageous, otherwise a willingness to undertake the necessary training and examinations is essential.
The role(s) will include:
- Undertaking site surveys using strong technical knowledge to assess problems and recommend the most appropriate solutions.
- Producing client reports detailing survey results and quotations for any necessary works.
- Completing all necessary risk assessments associated with our recommended works.
- Client liaison and development through face to face inspections, meetings and follow ups.
- Day to day liaison with team members, contractors, suppliers and manufacturers, including oversight of quoted works whilst in progress.
- Development and growth of both sales and customers in their respective areas via a variety of methods, including face to face meetings, networking events and approaching potential clients to introduce and promote our services.
- Acting as a point of contact for technical advice on all aspects of the products and services we provide.
