Self-Employed Plasterer / Subcontract Plasterer – Ad Hoc Work

Location: Leeds & surrounding Yorkshire areas

Pay: £150–£200 per day

Yorkshire Damp & Waterproofing Ltd are looking for a reliable, experienced self-employed plasterer to work with us on an as-and-when-needed basis.

This is not a full-time or guaranteed-hours position. The amount of work will vary depending on our workload – some months it may only be 2 days, while busier periods could be 10 days or more.

The role would suit an experienced plasterer who already has their own work but is looking to add extra days to their diary.

Work will mainly include:

  • Plastering following damp-proofing works
  • Skimming walls and ceilings
  • Patch repairs
  • Making good after damp-proof courses and associated works
  • General internal plastering

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced plasterer with a high standard of finish
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to work independently
  • Clean and tidy workmanship
  • Own tools preferred
  • Own vehicle preferred
  • Ability to travel to jobs across Leeds and surrounding areas

Pay:

Starting from £150 per day, with rates of up to £200 per day available depending on experience, quality of work and reliability.

All job materials are supplied and paid for by us.

Some days it may only be a couple hours of work, full day rate will always be paid.

This is on a self-employed/subcontract basis, and there are no guaranteed minimum days or hours.

We are looking to build a relationship with someone dependable who we can call on regularly when plastering work is required, I have set it to 3 people needed, just incase one is fully booked, one will be free.

Applicants should already operate on a self-employed basis and be able to invoice for work completed. Payments will be made subject to CIS where applicable.
