Job Title: Damp Proofer (Ad Hoc)
Location: WREXHAM
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Freelance
Project: Renewables Project
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Damp Proofer to join our team on a renewables project on an ad hoc basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and treating damp issues, applying specialist treatments, and ensuring all areas are properly protected from moisture damage. This is a freelance, project-based role with flexible working hours to accommodate the needs of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess areas for damp or moisture-related issues.
- Apply appropriate damp-proofing techniques and treatments to resolve issues.
- Install moisture barriers, damp-proof membranes, and other protective systems as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Work closely with other contractors on the renewables project to coordinate efforts.
- Report findings and progress to the project manager.
- Complete work efficiently and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Damp Proofer, ideally with experience on construction or renewables projects.
- Knowledge of damp-proofing methods, materials, and health & safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on an ad hoc basis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
