Job Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Survey Report Preparation Company: DampMaster Ltd – UK Damp Proofing Specialists Location: Remote / Work from Home Job Type: Part-Time About Us: DampMaster is a family-run business specialising in damp proofing solutions throughout the UK. We provide professional, comprehensive surveys and tailored solutions to address damp and timber-related issues in both residential and commercial properties.
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our survey team by preparing accurate, professional survey reports. You’ll work closely with our surveyor(s) to compile and format reports, helping ensure that clients receive clear, detailed insights into their property’s condition. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare survey reports based on surveyor notes and field findings. Format reports consistently and professionally, following company standards. Input data, descriptions, and recommendations into reports. Organise, file, and archive documentation appropriately. Assist with scheduling and occasional client communication as needed. Skills and Experience: Administrative Experience: Background in an administrative role, especially with report preparation or documentation.
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in documenting survey findings. MS Office Proficiency: Solid skills in Microsoft Word for formatting and preparing documents. Clear Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with surveyor(s) and clients if needed.
Time Management: Able to meet deadlines and work independently from home. Experience in Building/Construction (Beneficial): Knowledge of the building or construction field is helpful but not essential. Familiarity with AI (Beneficial): Experience using AI tools or software would be advantageous but is not required.
Hours & Pay: Hours: Approximately 15-20 hours per week. Pay: Per-survey basis, with rates based on experience and workload.
