About the Role

Advanced Preservations Ltd is seeking a qualified Damp & Timber and/or Waterproofing Surveyor to join our growing team. This hybrid role is based from our Ash Vale office, with flexibility for part-time remote working.

The successful candidate will undertake detailed inspections, prepare accurate reports and specifications, and provide tailored remedial solutions for clients. You will work closely with homeowners, contractors, site managers, and our internal operations team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently from initial survey through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct detailed damp, timber, and waterproofing surveys and inspections

· Produce clear and accurate reports, specifications, quotations, and remedial recommendations

· Communicate findings professionally and effectively to clients

· Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and site managers

· Work collaboratively with our in-house operations team and site operatives

· Ensure projects are completed in accordance with industry standards and best practice

· Maintain excellent communication throughout all stages of each project

About You

We are looking for someone who:

· Holds a CSRT/CSTDB Damp & Timber qualification and/or a CSSW Waterproofing qualification (or is currently working towards one)

· Has a minimum of two years’ surveying experience

· Possesses a strong understanding of buildings, construction sequencing, and defect identification

· Is articulate and personable, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

· Is self-motivated, professional, and enthusiastic in their approach to work

· Demonstrates strong commercial awareness

· Is ambitious and seeking long-term career progression

· Holds a full UK driving licence
