The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Satellite Lead Fitter to oversee installation works across
Sutton in Ashfield and within a 60-mile operating radius.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge, organisational capability, and the
ability to manage small fitting teams efficiently while maintaining high compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Leading and supervising small fitting teams on site
● Organising and issuing daily work schedules
● Managing stock control, ensuring teams are fully stocked
● Checking materials in and out accurately
● Monitoring and maintaining stock levels
● Ensuring all completed works meet compliance and company standards
● Enforcing strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
● Conducting site quality checks and inspections
● Completing required paperwork and digital job documentation
● Liaising with senior management regarding progress and performance
● Ensuring customer properties are respected and left clean and compliant
Requirements
● Proven experience in insulation, damp proofing, or related works
● Experience leading or supervising small teams
● Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and installation standards
● Good working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
● Strong organisational and communication skills
● Ability to problem-solve and work independently
● Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Desirable (but not essential)
● NVQ or equivalent trade qualification
● First Aid or SSSTS certification
● Experience in energy efficiency schemes
