£27,000–£29,000 starting salary
Full-time | Permanent | Based from Aldershot
Advanced Basements is looking for a Trainee Construction Site Operative to join our specialist waterproofing team.
This isn’t just a general labouring job.
You’ll work alongside experienced teammates, solving interesting building problems and learning specialist skills in waterproofing, damp proofing and construction.
Every project is a little different. One day you could be working in a basement, the next installing drainage and pumping systems, membranes or carrying out specialist remedial building work.
What you’ll do
- Work alongside experienced operatives on residential and commercial projects
- Learn specialist waterproofing and damp proofing systems
- Use hand and power tools
- Help install membranes, drainage systems and pumps
- Carry out practical building and preparation work
- Work as part of a team to solve problems on site
- Keep projects safe, tidy and well organised
Who we’re looking for
You don’t need waterproofing experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Has some previous construction, labouring or practical experience
- Is comfortable using basic tools
- Is reliable and turns up on time
- Works well with others
- Wants to learn and improve
- Has a full UK driving licence
- Holds a CSCS card
