JOB DESCRIPTION

DAMP PROOFING TECHNICAN AND PLASTERER

Biocraft is a leading specialist contractor providing damp proofing, water leak detection, timber preservation and home ventilation services throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Established in 2002 Biocraft provides a range of property services to both the public and private sector as well as commercial buildings and listed properties. As a result of our continued success and to aid with future plans we are now have an exciting opportunity for a senior damp proofing technician and plasterer who is motivated and practical with a knowledge covering the trades of damp proofing, building preservation and plastering.

The applicant must be able to work as part of a team and have good communication skills, to be able to communicate with both clients and work colleagues, have a pride in their work and want to learn, training will be given as part of the company training program.

Responsibilities

Day to Day tasks will included

· Damp proofing and waterproofing works

· Dry lining and plastering works

· Stripping plaster and installing various damp and plaster systems (wet and dry systems)

· Installing waterproofing membrane

· Lime plastering

· Skim plastering to a high standard

· Sand/cement render to a high standard

· General building and remedial works

Requirements

· Full UK Driving License

· Can do attitude, positive outlook and friendly demeanour

· Good Customer Service Skills

· Good communication skills

· Able to work at heights and confined spaces

· A decent standard of physical fitness and manual dexterity is essential

· Be keen to learn, punctual and professional

· Construction/building qualifications and or training would be a benefit

· CSCS card a benefit

Remuneration
