Employment Type: Full-Time - PAYE
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Reports to: Contract Supervisor and Contract Delivery Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Labourer to join our team. The role involves carrying out a range of repair, maintenance, and remediation tasks across various sites. This includes working on residential properties, ensuring that work is completed to high standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance work, problem-solving, and be able to assist in remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance tasks.
- Carry out remediation work.
- Independently conduct detailed surveys to identify issues, potential issues and recommend repair or remediation actions.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, tiling, or other remedial treatments.
- Operate instruments that are relevant to the task in hand
- Support qualified tradesmen, such as plumbers, electricians, and carpenters, in their duties.
- Transport materials and equipment to and from job sites and maintain cleanliness of the workspace.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations, including risk assessments and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues to the site supervisor.
- Assist with waste management and disposal, ensuring hazardous materials are handled correctly.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in maintenance, construction, or remediation roles.
- Competence in using a variety of tools and equipment for maintenance, demolition, and repairs.
- Experience in damp-proofing, concrete repair, or fire/flood damage remediation is highly advantageous.
- Strong physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks, including heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or carpentry work (preferred but not essential).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence - a work van will be provided
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional weekend work may be required).
- Majority of work is conducted on-site at various locations, including residential properties.
- Work may be conducted outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve working at height or in confined spaces.
