Full job description

Six Star Group installs solid wall insulation and offers rendering and damp proofing solutions for the retrofit market. We are registered Insulation Installers which means we can carry out work that is part- funded from government schemes. A lot of what we do is solid wall insulation. We insulate and render or plaster walls of homes without cavity walls. In addition to this, we carry out a lot of damp remedial works. We do traditional damp proofing and tanking. We remove plaster from the inside to the walls and either inject or line the walls with membrane before boarding or wet plastering in line with the original plaster surface.

Due to new contract opportunities we need truly excellent people from Birmingham with a great attention to detail to join us. You may or may not have experience in damp proofing internal or external wall insulation. The most important thing is you have a ‘can-do’ attitude and are willing to learn.

Key responsibilities include:

· Insulation boarding (internal and external)

· Plastering and rendering

· Rendering

· Damp-proofing

· Occasional other types of insulation (i.e. loft)

A bit about you:

· A self-starter who’s passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

· Plastering or rendering experience is essential

· You have a very good eye for detail

· Basic carpentry or plumbing experience is also welcome

· Great communication skills when dealing with customers

· Clean driving licence is essential

Here’s the deal:

· £29,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

· Up to 25 days holiday (after 2 years)

· Van and fuel card may be provided

· PPE and tools provided
