Overview

We are a busy pub, restaurant & hotel at the heart of the community of Darley. We pride ourselves in serving freshly prepared pub classics and an extensive specials board. We also boast a wood fired pizza oven in the restaurant. We serve upwards of 1300 covers per week during peak times and host several events throughout the year. You would be joining a friendly well accomplished kitchen team. This role is perfect for anyone wanting to progress their skills and gain experience in a fast paced environment with an ever changing menu.

Key responsibilities

Manage a designated section during service, rotating across starters, desserts, pizzas & plating up on the pass.

Maintain quality & consistency

Ensure hygiene & safety

Food prep including making desserts & sauces

Key skills

Good communication

Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen

Good organisational skills & attention to detail & presentation

A team player

Minimum of 3 years experience in a hospitality kitchen
