You'll be the right-hand person to our Director, as well as our regional management team providing expert project and administrative support.

For over 75 years, the Red Cross has stood with the NHS making a difference and providing vital support to vulnerable individuals. With over 80,000 people benefiting from our Health services every year, our impact is undeniable. Are you ready to join our team? Apply now and be part of our mission to help people in crisis. Our business support team operates from a variety of locations including local offices in Sheffield, Manchester, Hull, Newcastle, and Leeds.

What do we need from a Business Support Manager?

A capable and responsive business support team is integral to our ambitious growth plans and the development of new services. As well as providing great leadership you will work closely with our Director to help maximise productivity. As we work towards reducing health inequalities, you'll collaborate with frontline teams and managers, contributing to our humanitarian mission. Together, we help shape the future of health and social care.

What do we do?

We collaborate with health and social care providers to offer transformative support. We ensure safe discharges from hospital and provide support at home, building resilience in order to prevent readmission. We offer regulated care, patient transport and support on 'virtual wards' at home. But that’s not all - we’re constantly innovating and in many areas we’re leading the way, such as with our high intensity use programme and local coordination service.

Interested? Closing date for applications is 23:59hrs on Sunday, 5 May 2024. Face-to-face interviews will follow soon after.
