Reports to: eCommerce Manager
What You'll Be Doing
Product Data & Catalogue Management
You'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product information across our ecommerce systems.
- Prepare, format, validate, and import product data across Shopify, Brightpearl, FileMaker, Matrixify, and associated systems
- Set up new products using supplier and buyer information
- Maintain accurate product descriptions, attributes, specifications, metafields, variants, and categorisation, ensuring consistency across all systems
- Manage product lifecycle activities, including new product launches, updates, and product archiving
- Respond to product data queries and support internal stakeholders across the business
Pricing, Promotions & Product Configuration
You'll play a key role in ensuring customers see accurate pricing, promotional offers, and product configurations at all times.
- Update and maintain product pricing using supplier and internal pricing files
- Set up and manage promotional pricing, discounts, bundles, travel systems, and package offers
- Validate pricing and promotional accuracy across systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required
- Coordinate promotional activity and support the delivery of commercial campaigns
- Test all promotional mechanics and product configurations before launch
Website Quality & Customer Experience
You'll help ensure our website delivers a consistent, accurate, and high-quality customer experience.
- Review live product pages and website updates to ensure pricing, content, collections, tags, and metafields display accurately
- Monitor product listings and website content for completeness and accuracy
- Perform pre-launch checks before products and promotions go live
- Identify and escalate issues that may impact customer experience or website performance
Data Quality & System Integrity
Maintaining high standards of data accuracy is central to this role.
- Maintain consistency of SKUs, barcodes, inventory records, and product identifiers across systems
- Ensure products contain accurate dimensions, weights, and shipping information
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Support strong data governance and adherence to internal standards and processes
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support efficient product launches, promotional campaigns, and ecommerce operations
- Help develop and improve product data processes, documentation, and ways of working
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Work collaboratively across departments to support commercial objectives and business growth
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, validation, and imports
- Experience working with Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform
- Experience managing product information within ERP, PIM, or ecommerce systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Desirable
- Experience with Brightpearl
- Experience with FileMaker
- Experience using Matrixify
- Previous ecommerce or retail experience
- Understanding of merchandising and catalogue management
- Experience managing promotional pricing and online product launches
