We are looking for compassionate and experienced Male Support Workers/Carers able to provide support within the home of a young teenage boy with ADHD and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent supervision at home.
  • Support client's communication, emotional regulation, and personal care development.
  • Plan and deliver calm, structured, and sensory-friendly activities.
  • Ensure client’s safety while encouraging participation in age-appropriate and community activities.
  • Provide respite and support to the family, liaising with professionals as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months recent care experience.
  • Experience with children with autism, sensory needs, and complex behaviours.
  • Training in trauma-informed, sensory-aware care preferred.
  • Patient, empathetic, and confident in managing challenging behaviours safely.
