Experience a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive workplace where your ideas are valued, and your growth is supported.

Your role at a glance

The Specialist, Sourcing for Data Center Operations is responsible for managing procurement activities that support day‑to‑day data center operations, facilities services, and critical infrastructure. This role includes supplier evaluation, cost and total cost of ownership analysis, contract negotiation, and compliance with organizational standards, while also supporting global sourcing programs and contributing to long‑term strategy development to improve operational consistency, resilience, and cost effectiveness across regions.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferred Certifications: CPSM, ITIL, or data center-related certifications
  • Strong understanding of data center operational environments, including critical infrastructure, operating standards, and processes that ensure reliability, safety, and service continuity
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes supporting data center operations, including vendor performance, service continuity, and operational risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders, including data center operations, facilities, finance, and external service providers, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and operational outcomes in mission‑critical environments
  • Strong negotiation skills focused on achieving fair commercial outcomes that drive cost savings and improved total cost of ownership, while protecting operational continuity, service levels, and delivery commitments in mission‑critical environments
  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Familiarity with industry standards for data center operations
  • Travel required 10% of time
  • Perform work from a hybrid location with stable internet connection

What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers that support data center operations, including facilities services, infrastructure components, and operational support
  • Monitor supplier performance, service quality, and compliance while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships
  • Resolve supplier performance issues and enforce adherence to SLAs to protect uptime and operational continuity
  • Analyze spend and supplier performance data to identify cost savings opportunities and improve total cost of ownership
  • Prepare sourcing updates, performance summaries, and reporting for management and operational stakeholders
  • Use standard procurement and business tools to track spend, supplier compliance, and operational commitments
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service conditions that balance cost savings with operational risk and service reliability
  • Ensure agreements align with company policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to data‑center operations
  • Partner closely with data center operations, facilities, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with operational priorities and service needs
  • Support global programs, site expansions, and operational lifecycle initiatives by ensuring suppliers and contracts are aligned to long term operational and cost objectives
