- Conduct in-depth investment fundamental analysis of specific sectors and individual stocks to assist with the monitoring of existing holdings and help with the identification of new trade ideas
- Attend sell-side analyst and company management meetings, plus broker conferences
- Prepare detailed reports and will be required to frequently present your views and recommendations to the team
- Identify asymmetric return opportunities consistent with an absolute return mindset
- Apply appropriate valuation techniques (e.g. DCF) with a focus on downside protection
- Stress-test assumptions under different macro and market regimes

- Extensive knowledge and experience of financial modelling, ideally gained through at least three years prior experience as an equity research analyst on the sell-side or buy-side
- In-depth knowledge through experience of at least one industry sector in European equities
- Degree educated (all disciplines considered)

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and assimilate large amounts of information quickly
