Join Bell Group as a Time-Served Painter with the opportunity to earn up to £600-650 a week!
Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator with a passion for delivering high-quality, snag-free work? Bell Group has an exciting opportunity for skilled, time-served painters to join our growing team. We’re looking for professionals who take pride in their craft and want to contribute to top-tier painting and decorating projects across residential, commercial, and public sector properties.
What You’ll Do:
- Carry out high-quality painting and decorating tasks, ensuring all work meets Bell Group’s exceptional standards.
- Calculate materials, advise on colour choices, and prepare surfaces for painting.
- Install and work with a range of decorative finishes including wallpaper, fabric, paints, stains, and varnishes.
- Build and set up access equipment, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
- Repair cracks and holes, remove old finishes, and apply new coatings with precision.
- Ensure work is completed on time, snag-free, and in line with the project programme.
- Communicate effectively with clients and Bell Group colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' painting experience
- NVQ Level 2 Painting qualification
- CSCS card and a strong understanding of painting and decorating techniques.
- Comfortable working at height and using a range of tools and equipment.
- Own basic painting tools (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.).
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Able to snag own work before moving on to the next area.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions.
- Ability to adhere to safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.
- Full driving licence (preferred)
Desirable Skills:
- Basic computer skills (able to use a hand-held device for reporting).
- Ames Taping experience desirable
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good customer service skills and a positive approach to feedback.
- Experience working in occupied social housing and void properties
