Painter and Decorator – Self-Employed (CIS)
Location: Worcestershire and surrounding areas

Spa Decorators Limited is an established Worcestershire-based company carrying out all aspects of painting, decorating and building maintenance. We are looking for reliable painters and decorators to join our team on a self-employed subcontractor basis.

Experienced decorators are preferred, although applicants with limited experience and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

The work includes:

  • Internal and external painting and decorating.
  • Preparing surfaces, including sanding, filling and making good.
  • Applying paint, wallpaper and other decorative finishes.
  • Maintaining a tidy working area and completing work to a high standard.

We are looking for applicants who:

  • Take pride in their work and have good attention to detail.
  • Are reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Can work well with others and independently, depending on experience.
  • Communicate politely with customers and colleagues.

Self-employed subcontractor opportunities

We are seeking painters and decorators to carry out work on a self-employed subcontractor basis, with payments administered under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).

Rates, scope of work and availability will be agreed for each engagement. Subcontractors are free to accept or decline work and undertake work for other clients. A written subcontractor agreement will be required before work starts.
