Painter & Decorator Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Painter and Decorator Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. You will play a key role in managing day to day operations, maintaining safety standards, and providing guidance and support to your team.

Key responsibilities

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of the painting and decorating team.

· Ensure that all projects are completed to client specifications.

· Inspect all completed work to ensure if meets quality standards and safety regulations.

· Provide training, mentorship and performance feedback to team members

· Manage the scheduling and allocation of work to team members, ensuring efficiency.

· Ensure all materials and tools are available and maintained to the required standard.

· liaise with clients, project managers to ensure smooth communication and satisfaction.

· Address any issues or concerns that arise during the course of the project.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator with supervisory experience.

· Excellent knowledge of painting and decorating techniques, materials and tools

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Able to work to tight deadlines

· Relevant qualifications in Painting and Decorating (E.G NVQ etc)

· Previous experience in commercial and residential projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £200.00 per day
