We are looking for someone with strong buttercream icing and cake decorating skills who can confidently produce celebration cakes, cupcakes, traybakes and afternoon tea items to a high standard.

Experience may have been gained through previous employment, self-employment, running a cake business from home, or extensive hands-on cake decorating experience. The most important thing is that you can demonstrate a high standard of work and work efficiently in a busy bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Making and decorating celebration cakes
Buttercream icing and piping
Producing cupcakes, traybakes and afternoon tea items
Following customer specifications and order requirements
Maintaining excellent standards of presentation and food hygiene
Working both independently and as part of a team

Previous cake decorating experience
Strong buttercream icing and piping skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and manage workload
A passion for baking and creating high-quality products
Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
