Full job description

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the decoration (painting and wallpaper) assistance with the maintenance works and upkeep of all services within residential homes at 20+ sites.

  • To ensure the upkeep of all services is to a high specification
  • Communicate positively with line manager, staff and other professionals
  • To ensure the health and safety of self and co-workers are upheld for all tasks and duties.
  • To carry out tasks if they fall within the remit of professional competence and boundaries.
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Be accountable for your workmanship.
  • To prioritise emergencies and respond accordingly.

Essential:

NVQ level 2 or Equivalent (or higher) in Painting and Decorating

To be happy working at heights up to 10 meters off ladder/scaffolding (relevant training and PPE will be provided)

Other info:

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm - 40 hours a week with a 30 minute unpaid break

Work Van with Fuel Card and Trade Card Provided

Loyalty bonus / Attendance Bonus
