Decorator jobs in Crofton

We are seeking a skilled Painter and decorator / maintenance person to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, painting expertise and a valid driver's licence.

Duties:

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, and sanding them to ensure proper adhesion

- Select and mix paints and coatings to achieve the desired colour and texture

- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment

- Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all surfaces

- Repair any imperfections or damages on surfaces before applying paint

- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage during the painting process

-Painting internally and externally (cladding)

- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment

- General maintenance work when required.

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Painter or similar role

- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools

- Ability to accurately match colours and create desired finishes

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members

- Some general maintenance experience required.

- Valid driver's license to travel between job sites

£13- £15 per hour depending on experience.
