Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is preferred, as the position may involve travelling to various job sites.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select appropriate materials and colours based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople when required to ensure project completion.

Requirements

• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Previous experience in painting and decorating is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to drive is preferred for travelling between job sites.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating work.
• A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving skills within the trade.

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
