Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Mix and match colours to achieve desired shades and finishes.
• Communicate with clients to discuss their preferences and provide professional advice on colour schemes and design options.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator or in a similar role is desirable.
• Ability communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and listen to client needs.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials is essential.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• A positive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
