Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, professional finishes to residential, commercial, and industrial spaces. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes with precision and care. Your expertise will transform environments, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. Duties

  • Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, wallpapers, and decorative coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or other tools with accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow detailed instructions and specifications to achieve desired aesthetic effects and durability standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly throughout each project
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
  • Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups or corrections to meet high standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction painting, decorating or related trades demonstrating attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation between multiple job sites
  • Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and clients
  • Ability to work outdoors or indoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety procedures
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorative finishes
  • Ability to interpret project specifications accurately and follow safety regulations diligently
  • Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with construction painting standards and experience working on diverse types of projects
