We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through their painting and decorating skills. This role requires an individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring high-quality finishes in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects and maintain consistency.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timelines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Skills

• Proficient in painting techniques with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to drive to various job sites as required.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A good understanding of colour theory and design principles is advantageous.
