Summary

We are seeking a Painter and Decorator to Join our thriving, well organised Painting team, who will ideally live in or around the Plymouth area to carry out internal & external decorations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator in a construction setting
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques and materials
• Good communication skills to liaise with team members and clients
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driving licence is preferred
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
