A&A Decorators is a well-established painting and decorating company based in Stirling. We've served Stirling, Falkirk and Central Scotland for over 15 years. Our work combines traditional craftsmanship with modern methods and equipment, and our reputation comes from attention to detail, clean and respectful working, and finishes our clients are proud of.
This isn't run-of-the-mill work. Our projects include period property restoration, high-end family homes and Victorian villas, plus ongoing maintenance contracts with schools and a housing association. Our Google reviews regularly name our decorators for their professionalism and pride in the job. That's the standard we hold, and we're looking for someone who shares it.
The role
We're growing and looking for a skilled, experienced decorator to join the team. You'll work on quality interior and exterior projects, sometimes on your own and sometimes alongside the team, in clients' homes where presentation and care matter as much as the finish.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience as a painter and decorator
- Proven experience in high-end domestic and/or period properties
- Confident hanging wallcoverings, including quality and specialist papers
- Preparation to the highest standard. We provide dustless sanding equipment
- Able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Respectful of clients' homes: protects surfaces, tidies every day and communicates well
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in your work
- Ideally based within 30–40 minutes of Stirling
