Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select appropriate materials and techniques for each project based on client specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and design options.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
• Complete projects within agreed timelines while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail with a creative flair for design.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials when necessary.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Pay: From £130.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bordon GU35: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Painting and Decorating: 5 years (required)

Work Location: In person
