Full job description

The Philosophy

We believe the industry’s best Sales Consultants aren't born; they are built on a foundation of world-class service. To sell a dream, you must first understand how to deliver it. Our 16-month program transitions you from a travel enthusiast to a high-performing expert by immersing you in the customer journey from start to finish.

Why Join Us?

  • Earn While You Learn: A structured path to a nationally recognised qualification.

  • Mentorship: Be supported by industry veterans who have navigated every ocean.

  • Career Longevity: We aren't just hiring an apprentice; we are training our future top-tier Sales Consultants.

Phase 1: The Service Foundation (Months 1–9)

Before you sell the cruise, you must master the voyage. You will start in our Customer Service Department, learning the intricate mechanics of the travel industry. By supporting our guests after they’ve booked, you will gain an unfiltered look at what makes or breaks a great holiday.

  • Global Geography & Port Expertise: Become a walking atlas, mastering worldwide cruise ports to provide authentic, expert advice.

  • The "Cost of Error" Mindset: Learn why detail matters—from visa requirements and medical protocols to the financial impact of a booking mistake.

  • Industry Tech Mastery: Gain hands-on experience with Internal and external platforms.

  • Compliance & Trust: Navigate the legalities of travel (Package Travel Regs, GDPR) to ensure every guest is protected and every transaction is secure.

The Goal: To build the technical confidence and product knowledge required.

Phase 2: Sales Excellence (Months 10–16)

Turn your knowledge into earning potential.

Having mastered the "how" of travel, you will transition into our Sales Department. Here, you won't just take orders; you will act as a consultant, using your foundation of trust to build high-value experiences.

  • Consultative Selling: Move beyond scripts. Use your service background to match customers with the perfect cruise line, cabin type and itinerary, naturally identifying upsell opportunities that add genuine value.

  • Commercial Acumen: Master complex costings. You’ll learn the vital difference between turnover and profit, understanding how to maximise margins while staying competitive.

  • Relationship Management: Transition from "one-off" transactions to building a loyal client base through rapport, passion, and post-sale follow-up.

  • Closing with Confidence: Use your deep product belief to overcome objections and turn inquiries into confirmed adventures.

The Goal: To graduate as a Level 3 Travel Consultant with a proven track record of sales success and elite customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements (Course Requirements):

  • Aged 16 or over.

  • Ideally, 4 GCSEs at grade C / 4 or higher, including Maths and English.
