L6 Project Management/Property Acquisition & Asset Management Degree Apprentice

Weekly Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (this includes a 1-hour unpaid break).

Salary: £8.00 - £12.71 per hour, depending on the candidate’s age, experience and skill set.

Kick-start your property career with DBR. This apprenticeship offers practical experience in acquisitions, development and asset management, working on live projects with mentoring, training and clear long-term progression opportunities.

Full Description:

Location: Most of the time in our office at Deakins Business Park, Bolton, BL7, with occasional site visits to our project sites in the North West as needed(initially including Manchester, Chorley, Wigan, Bolton, Preston, and Stoke-on-Trent).

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (this includes a 1-hour unpaid break).

Start Date: September 2026

DBR Builders (NW) Ltd, part of the DBR Investment Group, is looking for an ambitious apprentice to join our growing property investment team. Working alongside experienced property professionals, you'll gain practical experience across acquisitions, development and asset management.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Researching investment opportunities.
  • Analysing residential and commercial property.
  • Working with estate agents, brokers, surveyors and lenders.
  • Reviewing valuation reports, finance offers and leases.
  • Carrying out market research and comparable evidence.
  • Assisting with acquisitions and due diligence.
  • Supporting the management of residential and commercial assets.
  • Using Microsoft 365 and AI tools extensively to analyse opportunities and improve efficiency.

Other Duties

  • Assist with researching and identifying potential property acquisition opportunities.
  • Support the assessment and due diligence of prospective property investments.
  • Assist with maintaining property, acquisition and asset management records.
  • Support the ongoing management and monitoring of the property portfolio.
  • Communicate with colleagues and external parties regarding property-related matters.
  • Provide general administrative support relating to acquisitions and asset management.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is analytical and organised.
  • Has excellent communication skills.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Is comfortable using Microsoft 365.
  • Is interested in AI and technology.
  • Has a genuine interest in property investment, acquisitions and asset management.
  • Wants to build a long-term career within the property industry.

Previous property experience is not essential; however, a genuine interest in property development, acquisitions and asset management is important.

A driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

The successful candidate will receive structured apprenticeship training, workplace mentoring and increasing responsibility as their knowledge develops.

Qualifications Required:

Applicants should have achieved:

104 UCAS points will be required for this apprenticeship

GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above, or an accepted Level 2 equivalent; and Three A-levels at grades A*–C, or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, such as a BTEC National, T Level or Level 3 apprenticeship.

Applications will also be considered from candidates awaiting their final Level results.

Qualifications in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Geography, Construction, the Built Environment, Property or Finance would be advantageous but are not essential.
