Self-Employed Delivery Driver in Stratford – Immediate Starts Available

Pay: £21.50 per hour | Potential weekly earnings up to £1,238.40 (including VAT)

We are currently recruiting reliable, motivated and hardworking Self-Employed Delivery Drivers to join our growing delivery team. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates.

If you enjoy working independently, driving and delivering parcels, this is an excellent opportunity to work on flexible schedules with pre-planned delivery routes.

Pay and Potential Weekly Earnings:

• Hourly rate: £21.50
• 6-day working week: £1,238.40 (including VAT)
• 5-day working week: £1,032.00 (including VAT)
• Van rental: From £200 per week, if hiring a van through us.

Potential earnings are gross amounts, including VAT where applicable, and are before van rental, fuel, insurance, tax and other business expenses. Actual earnings depend on the shifts worked and applicable contractual terms.

Available Shifts

Choose from the following shift options:

• Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8 hours)
• Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM (7 hours)

Drivers can work 5–6 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays, subject to route availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver approximately 70 parcels per shift.
• Follow pre-planned, sequenced delivery routes.
• Load your van and complete deliveries efficiently.
• Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.
• Handle parcels responsibly and follow delivery procedures.
• Manage your time effectively to complete your assigned route.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A valid UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• No more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence.
• Valid documents confirming the right to work in the UK.
• A National Insurance Number.
• Proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
• A UTR (Unique Taxpayer Reference). Assistance with applying is available if required.
• A satisfactory criminal background check.

Owner-Driver Insurance Requirements

Candidates using their own vehicle must hold the relevant insurance cover:

• Goods in Transit insurance: £25,000.
• Public Liability insurance: £5 million.
• Appropriate Courier Insurance.
